The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis will offer free admission from 10am-5pm!

IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum will offer free admission with the donation of a canned food item for Gleaners Food Bank. There will be a blood drive at the IMAX Theater where donors will receive free concessions for donating blood.
Indiana Historical Society will offer free admission from 10am-5pm with performances by the Metropolitan Youth Orchestra, Traci’s Urban Dance Jamm Studio and storyteller Deborah Asante and more! President Obama’s inauguration will be live streamed in the Basile Theatre.
Indiana State Museum will offer free admission with the donation of a canned food item for Gleaners Food Bank. See signed copies of the Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th Amendment, which outlawed slavery!
Indianapolis Museum of Art will offer free admission AND free parking all day to all exhibits!
Indianapolis Zoo will offer free admission and parking on Monday, January 21st with the donation of a canned food item for Gleaners Food Bank.
Madame Walker Theatre Center and the Indianapolis Urban League will offer a free
breakfast at the Urban League at 9:30am and then have a Freedom Walk to the Madame Walker Theatre at 10:30am where the inauguration ceremony of President Barack Obama will be streamed live inside the historic theatre at 11am. All of these activities are Free!
National Parks offer free admission all day. Indiana is home to THREE National Parks!

NCAA Hall of Champions will offer free admission and parking on Monday, January 21st with the donation of a canned food item for Gleaners Food Bank. Former Butler basketball star Ronald Nored will lead story time for kids from 11am-2pm.
Rhythm! Discovery Center will offer free admission on Monday, January 21st from 10am to 5pm. There will also be a special discussion and jazz performance at 11:00am in recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
Victory Field will offer free admission and parking on Monday, January 21st with the donation of a canned food item for Gleaners Food Bank. Take part in free health screenings. Each participant will receive two free tickets to Opening Day at Victory Field which is on Thursday, April 4th!
On Saturday, January 19th from 11am-3pm the 15th Annual MLK Community Festival will take place at the Christian Theological Seminary (1000 West 42nd Street) will offer a free community event to Indianapolis families in celebration of the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. Music, art-making activities, theater, poetry, peace games, and family yoga are part of the festivities honoring Dr. King’s vision. The event features a free lunch and a community fair with more than 40 community groups represented.
