In preparation of winter snow, I’m posting a list of approved sledding hills from Indy Parks as well as some reader submitted locations.
You will have to bring all of your own equipment when you visit these locations and for the love of Frosty, please don’t forget your warm clothes, waterproof clothing is best and GLOVES!!!!! Seriously! Keep in mind that you will typically need sunblock and chap stick even when it’s not warm out or the sun seems to be hiding.
Sledding is only allowed during daylight hours at the following locations. Please practice safe sledding. Tips from IndyParks are available at this link and I approve of and recommend following all of these safety measures! See the interactive map at the bottom.
