Not too interested in trick-or-treating this year? Don’t really know all your neighbors? We’re looking for something that might be a little less walking for a toddler.
Many Churches and organizations offer something called Trunk or Treat on Halloween weekend. It’s a really neat opportunity for your child to show off their costume and mingle with other children and for you to mingle with other adults. Trunk-or-treat is an activity that typically takes place in a parking lot and involves the trunks of vehicles. Sometimes those trunks are decorated in themes (we know someone who puts up an electric train running a track in the trunk of his car). Others are strewn with streamers and balloons or costume clad adults handing out treats as children go from car to car looking for treats.
There are so many other Halloween options everywhere in the Indianapolis. I’ve listed some options below that you might want to look in to. As with all events and activities on this site, please confirm with the venue that they are still taking place. If you know of an event I’ve left off of this list, please let me know!
